The resulting images can readily be analyzed using our tools or downloaded to your own system.

Image Analysis Tools

Integrated into the above frameworks, or as plug-ins to incorporate into your existing work-flow, our set of analysis tools for automated recognition of neural structure have a proven track-record of success. Do not waste valuable time and resources developing these yourself or digging through the public domain to find something which almost works - contact the experts and start the analysis. Examples include dendritic trees, spine counts, proximity measures, and local size and intensity of structures sampled with stereology.

Sceptical about fully-automated analysis? Unsure whether a negative result is because something has been missed? We use a model-free image-analysis framework designed to take a large set of imagery and detect group differences or screen for additional factors. Useful for validation as described above, this approach can also be applied post-hoc to image archives, or be included as a control for any stereology study.
